Season Annual 16/17
Season Annual is back doing what it does best, with its second edition celebrating the 2016/17 Premier League season.
The brilliant concept adapts the traditional childhood football annual into a modern day book showcasing illustration, graphic design and sports journalism. This year with over 400 pages, it tells the story of yet another classic PL season which saw Antonio Contes Chelsea claim the title and Northerners Hull, Sunderland and Middlesbrough go down. Features include goals of each week, with some memorable and incredible moments.
Football aside, the publication has such a wide variety of beautiful illustration, infographics and typography that it becomes a must have for creative football fans afar. The book itself can be purchased from their website below, and the option to buy individual prints of your favourite pages is available too.
The project is the result of Charlie Sims, Sam Smith and Josh Williams, three friends and Kingston graduates who wanted to produce an annual book “that would beautifully combine football and design”
